The first reading, from Isaiah 61: 1-7, was given by Ill therefore2Bro Dennis Thornton MWS. The second, from Acts 10: 34-43, was given by Vtherefore2Ill therefore2Bro Paul Philip Paterson 33o Inspector General for the District of Durham.

The church service was followed by luncheon at the Masonic Hall. It was a tight squeeze for the brethren with their families and guests who enjoyed a splendid four-course meal. Somehow, the waiters and waitresses managed to weave their way through the tightly packed tables (the soup must have been a particular challenge) with consummate ease and professionalism.
